This is the season in which many of our young professionals leave academia and enter the formative years of their chosen career. An exciting time, with much to learn and some uncertainty … but also, we hope with inspiring guidance and a good plan for development. In most professions there are guidelines, rules and codes to be learned and standards to be observed. For young marine professionals this process starts with the Rules of the Road.
